Rear Decor Panel

I have never been real happy with the rear of my Saab. I prefer the 9-3 rear end because it looks less cluttered and a bit smoother. The NG900 came with two different types of rear panels, painted for the early models and a reflector for the later ones. Which looks better is personal preference and depends on the color of the Saab. I was able to pick up an extra panel for a low price and I removed and filled the Saab logo in the center of the panel, then had it painted. I like the look of the painted panel without the round logo.

The worst part of the rear is the license plate. And moving it into the rear decor panel is possible but opens up another problem. The mounting holes for the license plate are now visible and the paint has been worn away above and the below both holes. The picture on the right shows the holes but the camera does not display how bad it looks. The holes and worn spots are very noticeable even when viewed from a distance. Without professional bodywork I am stuck with the license plate at the bottom.
