Front Brake Pads

This is a really easy replacement. Jack up the front and remove the wheel. With a screwdriver pry off the metal retaining wire. Then Using a 7mm hex wrench remover the two caliper retaining pins. Note that there is a mounting base for the caliper that is to remain on. Rest the caliper on a box so as to not strain the brake hose. Remove the old pads and depress the piston back into the caliper. I used a C-clamp for this and it worked very well. Place the new pads in and reinstall the caliper. Lastly reattach the retaining wire. I kept my existing rotors and have had no braking problems. On the first trip out pad grip was better than stock pads.
