These are custom aluminum control arm bushings that I made for
myself on a lathe. They replaced the stock rubber bushings. The difference is
amazing. I already had a rear-sway bar, lowering springs, a steering rack brace
and wider wheels and tires; and these bushings still made a very noticeable
difference. With the old bushings, during hard corning the Saab would under steer
and push through the turn. Making it difficult to carry speed through a tight turn.
With the aluminum bushings installed my Saab now holds the front suspension geometry
and grips through the turn at a much high speed. My Saab now feels much more balanced during hard cornering.
And as far as I know this is the only solid control arm bushing used on a Saab.
