Replacing the stock intake piping between
the intercooler and throttle body, the 2.5” delivery pipe allows for better airflow
and higher boost. It is a direct replacement of the stock piping. It consists of two
stainless mandrel bent pipes, two rubber couplings and an aluminum elbow with a welded flange to fit the
throttle body. The 9-3 uses a rubber elbow to attach to the throttle body and does
not need a metal flange.
I run fairly high pressure and I noticed a definite
increase in boost pressure when I installed the delivery pipe. There was less boost
fade at high rpms with the larger and smoother intake pipes.
